Kenneth Thomas is the founder of Quantum Path LLC, a wide-scope consulting firm focused on strategic advisory services that overlap intersecting scopes in Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE), renewable energy development, politics, cash management and communications. Quantum Path is also a certified minority business enterprise (MBE) with the City of New York; pending with the State of New York.

Kenneth’s professional path has been anchored in the financial services industry, where he worked for a real estate private equity firm and a renewable energy company, in an executive capacity, as its treasurer.

 He also has a long history supporting small minority and women owned construction contractors as the co-founder and executive director of a nonprofit organization. He successfully established an incubator initiative to increase operational and financial capacity for its members. Kenneth has also been the executive director of an association of general contractors and construction managers. Kenneth has also been the architect behind several DEI internship programs, collaborating with the City University of New York (CUNY).

Kenneth has been involved in local politics (NYC/NYS) where he worked as a chief of staff for a state Assemblymember and also an executive director and co-founder of a political action committee. He has extensive experience in retail politics (i.e., campaigns) as well as on the budgetary and policy end.

Kenneth has been featured in numerous publications (e.g., Crains NY Business, The Real Deal, Commercial Observer), as a subject matter expert and advocate. He has also been featured on NBC News and was recognized by LinkedIn for his contributions to equity in the workplace. Ken has also been recognized in City & State (NY) for his contributions to his work with M/WBEs and the in the construction industry.

Kenneth attended Seton Hall University and John Jay College, acquiring master’s and bachelor's degrees, respectively. He also has numerous certificates in financial risk management and analysis. Kenneth is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), accredited by the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), of which, he is currently a member of their exam development committee. He is also a treasury and board member of a workforce development nonprofit.
